Four years after Bobby Atwal murder, his family struggles for answers
Vancouver Sun
METRO VANCOUVER -- Richmond dad Karn Atwal knows there is someone out there who knows how his son Bobby ended up dead under the Queensborough bridge four years ago.
"Somebody knows something - a girlfriend, a friend, somebody has to," Atwal said Wednesday about the brutal 2006 slaying of his 22-year-son in New Westminster.
Relatives gathered today at the spot where Bobby's bloodied remains were located on Jan. 7, 2006.
Atwal said his son had no enemies and was not involved in gangs or drugs or anything untoward.
"Our whole family is really suffering," he said. "We are just waiting for someone to come forward and tell the truth."
