Kapurthala, An NRI groom, who was trying to have another bite at the cherry, not only got brickbats from the relatives of the bride but also landed in jail. It was learnt that the NRI was getting married for the second time without divorcing his first wife, Sarabjit Kaur of the UK who hails from Nawanshahr district.

Today morning, NRI Rajwinder Singh Chahal, 34-year-old son of Gurdev Singh of the UK who hails from Jallowal village, reached Milan Palace, the marriage venue, not knowing that relatives of the girl, Harpreet Kaur Shergill of Ganganagar in Rajasthan, had taken their gloves off.
